- budgeting;
- facilities design;
- policies and procedures for collecting, cataloging, reference and use of the records;
- recommendations for automated access;
- records management; and
- identification and selection of permanent staff.

Implement an Archives Plan
| Kenamore & Klinkow will oversee the establishment of an Archives operation. Activities may include:
- supervision of shelving and office equipment installation;
- organization and automated cataloging of records;
- regularly scheduled reference assistance; and
- staff training.

Develop records management policies and records retention and disposal schedules | Make your office more efficient, protect yourself legally, and identify and preserve archival records early in the life cycle. Kenamore & Klinkow will survey records throughout your organization and recommend retention and disposal schedules. |
Create exhibits that showcase your history. | Kenamore & Klinkow will utilize your documents, photographs, an artifacts to create exhibits that tell a story about your organization or corporation. Exhibits can be designed for the Web, on-site or traveling installations. |
Conduct oral history projects. | Older members or staff often have information not found in the written record. Kenamore & Klinkow will conduct background research and select and interview candidates for your oral history project. The interview tapes will be indexed, cataloged, and stored in the archives. |
Plan and implement symposia. | Panels and presentations on subjects related to information in your archives are effective means of outreach. Kenamore & Klinkow will recommend subjects and select individuals to speak for your symposia. |
Establish or re-establish corporate libraries that have lost organiztion. | Kenamore & Klinkow will:
- design facilities;
- establish an automated catalog to your holdings; and
- train your permanent staff in the maintenance of this catalog.
