Develop records management policies and records retention and disposal schedules

Make your office more efficient, protect yourself legally, and identify and preserve archival records early in the life cycle.  Kenamore & Klinkow will survey records throughout your organization and recommend retention and disposal schedules.

Create exhibits that showcase your history.

Kenamore & Klinkow will utilize your documents, photographs, an artifacts to create exhibits that tell a story about your organization or corporation.  Exhibits can be designed for the Web, on-site or traveling installations.

Conduct oral history projects.

Older members or staff often have information not found in the written record.  Kenamore & Klinkow will conduct background research and select and interview candidates for your oral history project.  The interview tapes will be indexed, cataloged, and stored in the archives.

Plan and implement symposia.

Panels and presentations on subjects related to information in your archives are effective means of outreach.  Kenamore & Klinkow will recommend subjects and select individuals to speak for your symposia.

Establish or re-establish corporate libraries that have lost organiztion.

Kenamore & Klinkow will:

  • design facilities;
  • establish an automated catalog to your holdings; and
  • train your permanent staff in the maintenance of this catalog.
